This is what needs to happen. Every other country needs to steer clear of the US for three more years-- financially and politically. I say this as an American. Trump thinks everyone has to go through the US for everything, but they don't.

Don't even call or consult him. Ghost him.

Audie Cornish was such a pleasure to listen to for many years on NPR. Soothing and stable and reassuring. As a former radio person it really hurts me to see NPR dismantled systematically by a person who hates truth and facts.

Who is Steven Ordemann?

Also, I've already got my Tax ID number and bank account in a foreign country and spent 2 years learning their language. YOU LOST ME when you elected Trump as a convicted felon. No serious country that cares about their citizens would do that. THAT WAS A HOSTILE ACT.

I think these people don't know, and have no way of telling, how mediocre and sub-par they are as professionals. I had a very high opinion of myself at one point in my 20s, but I realized my limitations and isolated strong points and went on from there.

These people think they're geniuses.

You were saying that the normal legal process was the answer. I am saying that it is not.

We're 10 months into this, and there have been hundreds of violations of court orders, ZERO arrests of the administration actors who ignore orders.

ZERO. ZERO arrests after 10 months of violations. Many violations resulted in deaths and ruined careers, but they keep going on. Still ZERO arrests.

Every religious bromide they utter is another audacious lie-- straight into your face, and with malice.

Income inequality is a massive threat to democracy. Yes, from the wealthy. But also from the abused underclass with pitchforks and torches (real or metaphorical).

Amazing thing about FDR's navigation of the depression was he saved the rich from guillotines and the poor from fascism.

I will never forget a surprised Matt Yglesias visiting my town asking around 2019 or 2020, 'Why is Chicago such a big city?"
