Suffering can make you monstrous, but you can still be loved And that love may not look like typical romance, but it's no less valid.

Still being able to love and be loved even when you are broken & your heart is black from suffering. Being loved can be so painful when you have chronic pain and constantly tackling the depression and low self-esteem that causes.

This is about your body failing but having someone still love you anyway. I have chronic pain/ disabilities but am also happily married & this represents a lot of that. Its about your partner being able to find your heart even when you feel completely hollowed out, exposed and in agonising pain.

That takes me back to my childhood. Love that film
