3rd and 4th I like the most :)

Po Last Jedi autentycznie czekałem na zwieńczenie nowej trylogii. Można mu wiele zarzucić, ale miałem odczucie, że pokazuje, że jednak da się podejść do tematu na świeżo... ale nie, nie da się - bo wszystko co pokochałem w tym filmie zostało skrytykowane i po TRoS coś we mnie umarło.

Maybe can you ask about less editing? I don't know which machines are they use. In labs often are not very complicated machines- they are not the most advanced and they use some automation. You could ask about to make this scans editable more - less contrast, little as possible color correction etc.

I think it is problematic, because labs want to satisfy regular customers -you know- I give them negative and they give me digital pictures with which I don't have to do anything. What is not necessarily bad. Sometimes I want to work with film by own hand but sometimes I want someone to do it for me

Because it looked like you were dissatisfied with one of the scans ( I am not sure which one :D ) - and I think both are good but for various purposes. I am very, very sorry if I say something offensive or something obvious!

When you scan color negative - you need make color correction and reduce the orange mask. Because negative is not final picture. - exactly as when you work under an enlarger. :)

What do you use to scan?
Because in my opinion both scans are good. The left one is more flat and need some editing but right one is more finished product.

Scaning is like making prints from negative - there is no - one good way to scan (unless we are talking about scanning a slide)
