Genuinely I think that WoW (at least around its high points) gameplay wise eclipses FFXIV in most regards pretty handily, but they care so little about their world and the characters in it, and it's bad enough to render it an ultimately inferior experience

Arathi Basin! I was personally a huge Alterac Valley fan. Yeah it took like an hour but I liked how you could basically PvE the whole deal and still contribute a ton to the overall fight.

Listen I could not be forced back to playing WoW at *gunpoint* at this point, but at the same time its PvP systems in 2005 run absolute circles around anything and everything XIV has ever done in regards to PvP
