I enjoy the meta-narrative of gender as a concept, not just the discovery of rare new labels. Sometimes I wonder when I would reach that one big eye-opening moment. I guess it's a rare occurence for some, because it's more common to keep discovering new things about oneself and finding better ways to discuss all the intricacies, rather than coming to a 'conclusion.' There might not ever be one singular big brain moment and then that's the end of my journey - I think there will be several of those moments and it'll just go on and on, compounding on themselves and creating an ever-growing tangle of gendered webs." My new FNaF OC.
Two versions of the same Five Nights at Freddy's OC, a peryton (winged deer.) The one on the left is intact. He is brown with deer-like hands and bird-like feet. He has small white feathered wings and a white feathered tail. His muzzle is white and he has green eyes. He has big deer-like ears and a small pair of antlers. The one on the left is in poor condition and seems to be falling apart. The bottom half of his jaw appears to have fallen off, revealing a metal endoskeleton jaw with teeth. There's a huge hole torn in the chest, revealing metal parts and some wires. His left hand has fallen off to reveal a metal hand and his right foot has done the same. His overall brown color is faded and the white has yellowed. His left eye is missing, leaving only a black void with a single white pupil. His left antler has broken off and his right one's paint is chipping off to reveal white underneath. The green text on the page reads "Pryce the Peryton" and "he/she" is written underneath.

I'm making my first hand-drawn physical zine and I decided my short poetry should go in it.

It's called The Heart Exhibit and I plan on having six different issues of the zine, all different collections of poems with some tiny illustrations to go with them.

Trial and error with the new button maker.
A messy setup with a button maker and supplies scattered on a desk. Cups filled with pens and markers are setup next to the button maker. There's a sheet of paper with some pride-related doodles including pronoun sets and pride flags. Some circles are already cut out of the scrap paper. Two different sized pin-back buttons are shown in the palm of someone's hand. Both have the pronoun sets he/him and ey/em on them with the nonbinary pride flag drawn below both. The smaller button is a little off-center with shakey handwriting, but the larger of the two is of significantly better quality.

This is a dog that keeps escaping her yard because she dug up the electric fence and managed to break her runner. It's so easy not to let your dog do this shit.

Also, yes, Limewire was everything to me. And it fucked my computer up a bit but I was good at finding ways to fix it.

I grew up when MySpace was the addictive platform, but I started with AOL Messenger before that. It was the only way I connected to people. I used to look up forums for people who just wanted to chat and I would pop in, way too young for some of those spaces, just to see how other people talked on the internet (meaning I didn't have an "internet accent" in the way I typed because I only saw much older folks chatting about whatever.) When on AIM, I just talked like myself with my friends. Sometimes strangers. Sometimes I got into some serious trouble that way. MySpace was the first introduction to popularity online, but only in a closed circuit: The whole friends list hierarchy thing. People would try to be in others' top ten. But it was only amongst ourselves. No algorithm. No ads selling us remedies for all the things the elites thought were wrong with us. We didn't even get hate comments or unsolicited DMs. No bots either. It was a great time and I wish social media platforms took all those very good things and built on them to make better online spaces for everyone. Instead, using social media feels like I'm trapped as a cog in a Capitalism Machine. There's no life or emotion anymore. There are no one-on-one connections. It's so bleak.
