I went back and Re-read this interview and I thought it was great. He draws out a lot of the issues with the book but in a way that allowed for constructive but challenged response. I’ll say he definitely threw a few daggers in as the interview progressed.

I’m looking at research right now about the fluidity of aesthetic preferences across lifetimes and it highlights that both young and old people demonstrate higher rates of it but change of preference occurred at all levels. What markers of identity do you think are more inherent to taste?

So I just went to Heartwood‘s page and they’re still asking for donations stating they are a 501(c)(3). But it seems pretty clear on the IRS’s webpage that they haven’t been a 501(c)(3) for five years.

According to the IRS they got their 501(c)(3) shit yanked like five years ago, but they’re still claiming to be a 501(c)(3) on their website and asking for donations.
