it's a very subtle thing in Avowed, but I really appreciate that the Aedyrans pronounce Envoy differently than the Paradisans/Living Landers do. Such a tiny piece of world building but it says a lot (to me, at least).

Genuinely gobsmacked and heartbroken by Lynch's passing. There are weird creatives and eccentric people, and then there was him, off in his own world, at once clearly defined and utterly beyond comprehension in the same breath. Nobody truly compares. God, what a blow.

Went 4-4 in the Standard Spotlight at SCGCon today, which is roughly four wins better than I expected to do. If nothing else, though, the show has given me an immediate appreciation for Legacy/Stiflenought.
