There's a 21% of electricity demand that could be significantly reduced if the government pursued a data centre strategy similar to the German Energy Efficiency Directive. (Also, LNG has a higher GWP than coal due to methane leakage) More fossil fuels isn't the answer to a fossil fuel problem.

Not exactly accurate, the government GNI report suggested that LNG (through an FSRU) wouldn't be practical due to cost, time to get setup, and frequency of boil-off. Most of these concerns apply to nuclear too. The best way forward is demand reduction, interconnectors, renewables and batteries.
