Spotted some beautiful chonky mushrooms at 14th & Yukon in #vancouver. Wasn’t expecting to see these ones in the city! #mushtodon #mosstodon
A whole lot of moss and amanita muscaria mushrooms growing around the roots of a big thick tree along 14th Ave in Vancouver. They are bright red with white spots. The ones on the left are wide and flat, while the ones on the right side of the frame are more of a rounded shape. A close-up of two of the mushrooms. They are very round, and very red. They’re squished up close together with some moss and fallen leaves around them.

We grew a very long bean. #gardening

Oh right this is why I live here. The Heather Trail in Manning Park is *beautiful*! I can even forgive the mosquitos - they’re important pollinators there.
