Honestly (from an AQI perspective) it feels worse! San Francisco often got fresh air off the ocean so we’d have just 4 or so days a year at max. 😩

I've noticed the same thing! It's crazy. Been N95'ing up even on my walks when the AQI is beyond like ~130, and over 100 I generally try to avoid being outside for extended time.

Living in California through the fires though brought this education to me. So definitely feel you.
