I’ve finished 17 games this year. Not bad considering that Fortnite dominated the first half of the year for me. I might be able to finish one more before the year wraps up.

Awards are a great way to recognize someone’s hard work and their talent but it’s not a declaration that no one else can be great too.
If your favorite game didn’t win the other day or even get nominated it doesn’t mean it was bad and it shouldn’t devalue your experience with that game.

#TheGameAwards should be renamed Game trailers with some rapid fire awards on the side.
Like I love trailers and reveals as much as the next person but why are most of these awards not being presented on stage? The people behind these games deserve their moment to celebrate and give a speech.

People clinging to the idea of console exclusives is so weird to me. Like sure that mattered years ago but that’s not where the focus is today.
I think people should be able to play games on whatever platform they want as much as possible. Great games shouldn’t be locked to a single platform.

It sucks that Halloween is almost over.
I finished Life is Strange Remastered and it jumped straight to the top of my rankings for games I’ve played this year.
This was technically a replay for me (first time playing the remaster though) and it’s a 10/10 game imo.
I love Chloe and Max and the town of Arcadia Bay.

Honestly I kind of love the glow up MAGA has given liberals lately. We went from being described as weak crybabies to being a menacing threat to society that can only be stopped by armed forces.

The fact that Universal hasn’t worked “holding space” into the marketing for Wicked: For Good feels like a missed opportunity.

It gave me everything I want from a Miles game. I just wish it had been a little longer. The ending felt a little rushed.

Tonight for dinner I made sweet potato nachos and they turned out pretty good imo! I’m usually pretty hard on myself with my cooking but I am actually proud of myself for how well this turned out for my first time making it and first time using some of these ingredients. 😋

I’ve played mostly Xbox games this year but in the next week or so I should be finishing up Life is Strange Remastered and Spider-Man: Miles Morales on the PS5.

Finished my replay of Call of Duty: Black Ops the other day. Gave it a 10/10. I think it’s an incredible game that still lives up to the memories I have of it.
