Yesterday the Republican controlled Missouri Senate, Sen Stephen Webber (D-Boone County) introduced an amendment that would end the statutory ban on same sex marriage. Yes, MO still has a ban on same sex marriages. The amendment failed 6-19, with 9 Senators absent. #MoLeg

Just a reminder that in 2020, Dr. Oz suggested that opening schools during COVID would "only cost us 2-3% in terms of total mortality," and that "any life is a life lost but... that might be a tradeoff some folks would consider."

I’d love to not only find educator friends on here but also hear what you are doing to help protect public education in this dangerous climate of voucher schemes, book banning and a push to dismantle the DOE! Let’s learn from each other! ✌🏻
