One more day to see E.T. with the score performed live with the @torontosymphony.bsky.social. I don't think there was a dry eye in the house (and damn the movie hits hard after Fablemans).

People in LA are always shocked and fear for my life (not kidding), every time I take public transit. Bus, subway, tram, I've have had no issue, but it's wild when bus stops are in the middle of the highway. Usually faster than an Uber to cross the city.

I've been watching the "greatest" 1000 films of all time, in chronological order using the list compiled by @top10ner.bsky.social and my god, do not watch THE PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC while stoned. I was unprepared for that oratorio score.

This one got me today. When did they announce a water feature with 1000 dancing fountains?

Absolutely wild that Lakeshore East GO Stations can be surrounded by...nothing.

@diannesaxe.bsky.social thinks mid-density is going to "destroy the neighborhood". Meanwhile what the Annex looks like for a lot of people.

Meanwhile we are finally getting a fix Lowther/Bedford intersection, one of many dangerous areas without proper crossings. Maybe champion that?

MP Freeland's office was unable to confirm if she gave Charlie Kirk a standing ovation in the House of Commons.

Too busy working on eliminating all that hate they are creating with bills C2 and C5.

From what I'm hearing, we need to protect Paul Thomas Anderson at all costs from the political fury that will be heading his way...

A 3 minute section of Silksong just took me 94 attempts. This is quite possibly the hardest game I've ever played. #Silksong

Mayor Chow has a really unique opportunity here. del Toro & Schwarzenegger have recently exclaimed their love of Toronto while recognizing traffic woes.

TTC celebrity campaign & transit forward plan would be an opportunity that Ford couldn't play against.

Start with King Street. The home of #TIFF

A damning example of Ontario screwing up housing for decades. There's so much space around a commuter train station that we can run a grandstand through the parking lot

Is it 2011 in NYC with Renee Fleming?
September 3, 2025 at 2:24 PM
Can't wait to take a big bite out of this exhibit again! Experienced it in NYC a couple of years ago.

Now we have our own inspired little condo museum 🦈

For a company that is barely holding on outside of September, it's major shame to see TIFF allowing these resale numbers.

Moving to Ticketmaster really killed our interest in yearly events. #TIFF

@diannesaxe.bsky.social low hanging fruit for our riding! Want to solve traffic on Dupont or Bathurst?

Every single car in the right lane has to merge because of a single street parked vehicle next to an empty parking lot with 25 free spaces.

After the parked car? An empty lane no one uses.

It really is up to parents to decide that they are done with putting their children in the worst conditions possible under conservative policy.

Funded classrooms?
Safe roads?
Clean cities?
Housing availability?

Walking along Bloor last night to see the new Glen Road bridge we watched 5 near misses where a driver recklessly pulled into the bike lane and cyclists had to divert.

We need these protected barriers on Bloor East immediately.

Would be great to have some sort of giant signage letting people know that there is a beautiful park somewhere behind all that concrete. On the GoTrain and an older couple are calling the area the "badlands"

Biidaasige Park deserves better than the Gardiner as its welcoming committee.

You could pedestrianise that entire neighborhood overnight while maintaining all parking garage access. Our public spaces are full of cars!!!
August 24, 2025 at 1:44 AM
A couple further on Bloor the other day too.

Less than 50 feet from the site of two recent cyclist deaths. Their bike memorials are just behind me.

Drivers know they are breaking the law.

Drivers know that they will eventually hurt someone.

Drivers know they will get away with it.

Can anyone provide me a rhyme for this bike lane situation?

Thanks Duke of York for a great summer Duke Dog Day BBQ!

@anotherglassbox.bsky.social I think you made a cycling appearance and everyone wants to know where you got the attachment for Penny.
