If you're an indie programmer & you can't afford an artist or assets, AI is totally chill.
But big companies downsizing etc. for AI potential. & "AI Artists" flooding the freelancing market suck ass😄

There are great platforms now like VGen now which have taken a strong stance on AI Art, they say "Until AI is ethical we won't allow it"..
Which is a fancy way of saying probably never, because these companies train their AI's on stolen data bought from data brokers in China/India😅

As far I know it's 3rd Party Tools being created for Blender, but I have no doubt they will be native at some point. Blender is Open-Source driven. It's just weird dude I like people making things, AI will be great surgeons and think-tanks.

But the human tattoo artist and carpenter are real👨‍🎨

(2/2) My old-head opinion this is just cope from artists that have reached their skill ceiling, like they've forgotten the whole joy of art is breaking past those boundaries.
It's not about $ or how quick you can shit out art, these aren't Artists, they have no pride or care in their creation🤣🖕

Good point too dude, I think on Fiverr etc. it's obviously the highest earning ads that show first. Thus it always being American ads I see. Bias confirmed😁

But even that philosophy is a little alien to me, I don't charge different prices depending on the clients income.
I charge what I need to pay bills and what seems fair for the labour.

Those are all fair points, and I do agree that it can be hard work that's not disputable. It's just as someone from a third-world country, $500 is two months rent with utilities.
I feel the same about CAD artists, it's not that I doubt the hard work. It's just high pay compared to other creatives.
