Very old: the last of Class 144 Pacer trains was retired 5 years ago! I understand you’re trying to illustrate a point @theguardian.com but for accuracy’s sake and to avoid accusations of ‘metropolitan elite bias’ perhaps at least choose an image of an old train that’s still in active service…
