A large crane is seen lifting a large concrete wall panel off a truck and up to the tower, where two workers stand ready and waiting to lock it in place. Two workers are seen steadying the lifted panel into place. A large crane is lifting the final wall panels into place atop the tower. The next stage will be to build to actual tower cab and lift it into place. That will be several weeks away.

This time last Sunday I was very happily sweating my ass off at KJEF during our annual Show Me State Air Show. It was soooo freaking hot out there on the ramp, but man is it fun directing these beasts. Occasionally, I cop a ride. Yeehaw!! #aviation #avgeek #warbirds #flight

A very pleasant afternoon assembling Emergency Contraception Kits at Missouri Family Health Council, Inc. today in Jefferson City, MO. Team effort resulted in over 2,000 kits assembled in just a couple of hours. See you next time?

Went and visited my happy place today. So much fun. Can't believe it's been over 18 months since I last got up. More! Please!
A very happy me with a thumbs up as I fly at 4,500 ft across mid-Missouri. A view out the aircraft's window at 4,500 ft - looking down at mid-Missouri land - about 50-50 farmland and woods. Jefferson City Fire Department ran their Firefighter's Physical Agility Test today, and of course I challenged myself to do it.

Well, I lived! A respectful 8 minutes and 29 seconds to complete (10 minutes is pass/fail). It was fun, and now I need a nap...LOL

Well, things are finally getting back to "normal" in my life, whatever the heck "normal" is - but I have more time to explore the world. Meantime, I was sworn in to Our Fair City's council on Monday, the 21st. Time to roll up the sleeves and get to work. Progressively, so to speak...
Taking the oath of office - I'm the 2nd from right First council meeting. I was surprised by the weight of responsibility I felt on taking the dais. With my very capable and strong campaign team. Proud that it's 80% women. My spousal unit is the cute woman in green.

In Missouri, Absentee Voting is open. No Excuse Absentee Voting opens March 25th. Please vote (for me!)!

An interesting stat: There are 6,000 registered voters in Jefferson City Ward 3. Only 1,600 vote in city elections. Make YOUR voice heard! There's really "no excuse".
