l've been working on #reticello and tried to layer silver leaf in between the cups (a good suggestion from Bill Gudenrath). Some of the reflectiveness is lost as the blank is blown, so l have to keep playing.

The green and white colors highlight the unique twist of this #reticello glass made of two twisted cane cups. At the intersection of the canes a bubble is trapped. Recently made few rollups and supios. First I coat color in clear, then pull thin. Finally, I put the canes together and heat them so they stick and be rolled, then I cut that roll up into supio cups that I gather glass over and blow out. #glassart #glassblowing #glasscane #glassrollups #veteranart

Uranium glass reticello bubble vase. Just had to see how it would look. I had the privilege of taking a class with Janusz Pozniak. Learned so much and feeling more confident with #reticello. Reticello is a pattern made from 2 cane cups that are twisted in opposite directions. #glassart #glassblowing
