The surgery needed is surely greater than peps first season, and will feasibly take 2 more summers assuming we can’t sign 3 midfielders, a full back and another center back this summer.

In pep we trust. He’s simply far too loyal and committed to small squads, but the magic he’s given us cannot be undone by one ( hopefully one!) dissapointing season.

Hard to imagine 2 or 3 players can change this. We have issues across all parts of the pitch. Not to mention psychological.

Zero creativity. Supportive crowd today in the stadium but nervous because the same game has been played out almost the whole season. Squad standards are shocking.

Hardest part is the predictability.
Wingers offering little or minimal threat.
Defensive errors. Centre back going off injured.
100m player “injured”and nowhere to be found. Haaland is shot on everything but his effort. KDB can’t clear the first man
A midfield incapable of winning a ball.

Walker trying to cheat a red card is an all season low, even by his standards.
Shameful behavior from a captain in title only.

More than the other defeats this season, this one has broken me. A half decent PL team can often defend a lead with minutes to go. We’re not that anymore and this fall from grave is astonishing.

It’s been such a pleasure watching this team but it’s been apparent since last year that we’ve needed new blood. As
painful as it is watching this decline, lets give Txiki and Pep the benefit of doubt.
They know more than all of us. In them I trust.

Rico is a fine little player with lots of energy and has a future somewhere,and I know we don’t practice tackling.. but he might want to try it face forward with his weight behind him as opposed to sideways
that ends up with a little pirouette and him again stumbling to the floor
