The idea isn’t that Bond is dead and can’t come back, it’s that no other Bond has gloriously sacrificed himself to save the world before, and that’s a very tough act to follow. When the mic is dropped, I wouldn’t blame anyone for not wanting to be the first to pick it back up.

I’d go back on in a heartbeat. That show was a fantastic experience.

The peer group for this is TV executives. “No experience necessary” is just such a pitiable self-own.
