After 2.5 years of battling bone cancer, my sweet, brave, tough Petra just couldn't fight anymore and joined her sister Gianna across the rainbow bridge. I'm amazed at how long she fought and yet devastated at the same time now that she's gone.

Until we meet again, my Care Bear...🐾💔

Each of the dogs I have ever had in my family or have fostered have had their own unique trait/thing about them that I always remember. Weirdest one so far is my Boston Terrier, Lorenzo. He gets "belly button lint" - so weird.

Today is National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day! 🐾

Whether it’s a dog, a cat, a bird, a bunny, if you can adopt, I promise it’ll be one of the most beautiful things you’ve ever done.

In honor of shelter pet adoptions, here’s Lucky on his very first day with us after he came to his furever home.

Lorenzo is sad because his foster sister was adopted this week. He is going to need a new foster sibling to play with.

My Rottie girl Petra. We adopted her from a wonderful rescue that I foster for. She was a former Amish mill mama. In March 2023 she was diagnosed with bone cancer... it is November of 2024 and she's still with us enjoying rolls in the grass and hanging with the other dogs. ❤️🐾

Coming to Bluesky for good vibes, tired of the negative. This was my Rottie girl Gia. We lost her last September to bladder cancer. She loved life and was full of it up to the end. Miss her like crazy ❤️🐾
