The principal is an exceptional leader. The girls knew what the rules clearly were. Girls High has a very long history in the Philly as THE top academic school for girls. Trying to maintain its traditions and standards of excellence and decorum in a world of chaos should be respected.

After Corbett cut the district's funding by 20%, only Central and Masterman were able to keep their libraries open due to outside funding sources. McCall School also had a local doctor fund their Library Aide's position.

Gov Corbett cut the District's funding by 293 million in 2011. His goal was to give all schools to charter companies. His 2nd highest donor was V. Gureghian. He leads Charter School Management Inc. He sold his Florida mansion for $84 million. Just 1 reason why nearly all our libraries are closed.
