For me, it was 1984. For kids today, I think A Brave New World would be timely, provided they also were required to read the essays in Brave New World Revisited.

Also Maybe “One More Night in Brooklyn” by Justin Townes Earle but he seems to be a little fond of Brooklyn but annoyed by the girl there so maybe it’s just her and not there.

I haven’t read every comment so it may already be said but have you tried your AppleTV remote? I don’t give presentations but I often control my Mac with the simple solution.

Also I guess I am assuming you have an AppleTV

Interesting (maybe irrelevant) bit of trivia: Front man Doug Feiger’s brother is Geoffrey Feiger, the attorney in Michigan who represented Jack Kevorkian.

I was going to say the say thing! Wait until these folks find out about Amon-Ra St. Brown, a half black man, is pretending to be German with his helmet flag!

(Note: For those who are sarcasm illiterate … I know his mother is German and he speaks the language fluently)

I always just thought it was the representation of the anti-authoritarianism which was rampant in the mid and late ‘80s. Cops are authority … Rambo no-like authority … cops bad! Cops no-like people who no-like authority … Rambo bad! Cops love asserting their authority after all.
