Such a pleasure to meet @sathnam.bsky.social last night and hear his views on society and the challenges for communicators to cut through the noise.
Thanks so much to @farzanabaduel.bsky.social for the invitation.

Calacus has just released its latest Sport for Good White paper which celebrates the power of sport to transform communities and the impact organisations large and small can have on young people.
Thanks to all those who contributed!

I've always loved @time-magazine.bsky.social but I am stumped with this shortlist for Person of the Year.

Only a couple I think are worthy of consideration. What do you think?

I was honoured to be invited to #EmiratesStadium today as Arsenal launched their Economic and Social Impact report.

To listen to the leaders and beneficiaries of some of the projects talk about initiatives that have changed lives underlines the power of sport to make a positive difference.

I've watched Interstellar twice in the past week.
One of my favourite films and a masterpiece of cinema.
The relationship between father and prodigious daughter reminds me of my own.
That soundtrack, too....on a grey wintry morning like today, is, quite simply, out of this world.

If you work in comms, I'd encourage you to read Eric Beecher's "The Men Who Killed The News".
It reminds us that what Elon Musk is doing now with Twitter/X is how newspaper owners have manipulated power through the media for centuries, and no one has come up with a viable solution.
