If the community was worse than average as a whole, then PDX wouldn’t be doing it’s “release game unfinished, let the modders fix the game” strategy for the last two generations of titles. Why should the majority be characterized for an extreme minority? Its nonsense, you’re just flat wrong

The modding scene also is the one responsible for the most creative and enjoyable content that comes out of any Paradox game. Even if we assume the linked thread is right (its not), you have an entire community that makes good stuff and a handful of mods that suck. The community isn't the problem.

Now if you know about all the other content of the mod and decided not to mention or you just ended up with tunnel vision by "accident", i can't know. I guess we just have to do what you couldn't and give the benefit of the doubt, rather than creating moral panic based on faulty knowledge.

Its very interesting that in the "omg accelerationist conspiracy" thread there's no mention of the crazy shit that happens in Europe or Asia, which host two major great power wars in the mod. Of course none of the crazy paths of China and Russia make an appearance in the thread, it'd defeat ur point

Plus the idea that TFR is ran by a mysterious neo-nazi cabal because they use readily available information on the internet about radical groups is laughable. So is your attempt to call everyone in the mod's community a secret nazi, when the folks there are mostly your average internet commies

This thread is such a games journalist moment. You went to play with the crazy neo-nazi faction, then proceed to complain that the neo-nazi faction has content. And that its own narrative is self-glorifying (they are for all factions, there's literally a warning about it at game start).
