Lake Ohrid is millions of years old and has more than 200 endemic species including Ohrid belvica (Salmo ohridanus). Reminds me of Coregonus

Successful retrieval today of autonomous up looking #acoustic unit from Lake #Champlain after 5-month deployment to observe #Mysis and #fish shoulder season and overwinter behavior every hour. Mysis day/night sampling to verify acoustic targets. Excited to see data! @uvmvermont.bsky.social
