I think it's fair to say there are a lot of people who don't factor in how qualified a person is. That's not been a thing since at least 2016.

Yeah, I saw some of that yesterday. Which adds to my feelings about the management. One very inexperienced backup and he's injured...and your starter has been playing on a fractured fibula for at least 2 weeks - that is negligent management.

If they bring in Rivers as anything other than a warm body to back up Leonard then Ballard is gone. You don't run with a lone backup at 7-1 if you aren't willing to ride with him.

I think we've passed the threshold to satisfy the impeachment clauses a long time ago and more than just a few times.

@adamkinzinger.substack.com And if I recall, part of why it went so badly was due to the tight timetable set on the way out the door. I remember when Trump left there seemed to be a lot going on that looked intentionally designed to make the transition more difficult.

For context, 2019 and prior saw around 18k cases with a sharp decline during COVID years. This year, cases are almost double 2019 levels. There is a reason we have vaccines and it's pure negligence for the current HHS leadership to undermine those efforts based on anything other than science fact.
