Well, this assessment is certainly true, but rings a bit hollow considering projecting the policies of foreign governments onto its citizens has been the default position of the average American for decades.

Nah, remove the entire system of pardons. From the president on down to governors etc. Fix the justice system if false/ imprisonment and unfair sentencing is that big an issue (it is).

lol I recall on Sundays in MD the gas stations and corner stores that sold beer would have broom handles in the doors of the coolers because they couldn't sell on Sundays. Obviously not meant as a security device more of a reminder but just funny.

Too bad the bartender(or other staff) weren't tech savvy enough to figure out how to cast that to their TVs. Couple free drinks to the person with the phone, and every one gets to watch.

Americans biggest protest so far was planned months in advance to fall on a weekend so no one missed work or caused any real disruption to the status quo. Could have been an email, would have had the same effect. But please do tell everyone else to do something while you do nothing.

Worked in customer service for many years. Can't imagine treatment would be any worse. People have been abusing CS workers since the dawn of time. (probably)
