Not arguing for silence. But rattling off statistics doesn’t work. So try something else.

I live in NYC. I know the crime rate is both down here and per capita very low. But I’m also in a neighborhood with a methadone clinic and my morning dog walk is like a zombie movie. Statistics don’t change what people experience and just yelling louder doesn’t change that.

A valid point if it wasn’t for all the elections we lost. Having economists cite statistics that claim the economy is better doesn’t work when voters don’t see it. No we’re making the same mistake on crime.

All the economists were saying that last election. You can’t tell people the economy is better. They have to feel it.
August 28, 2025 at 11:33 PM
Yup. And stats always win the argument. Just like they did for Biden on inflation.
August 14, 2025 at 12:31 PM
Yea. And keep citing statistics that make it sound like there’s no problem but don’t reflect the reality of most people’s lives, because that worked so well with inflation.

Then f@cking don’t!!!!
July 29, 2025 at 10:16 PM
I know. I got 249,999 of them.

He swears he kept his underwear on while writing it.

Because in the history of our people we usually don’t get to live in them that long. And NYC elections are always about more than the city. They’re about Puerto Rico, and Israel and at one time Ireland.
June 17, 2025 at 4:58 PM
And your conclusion is the democratic socialist who never ran anything is the best to run the city? You could go with Lander and have someone who actually knows something and then not having an antisemite run the city with the largest Jewish population outside of Israel would just be gravy.
June 17, 2025 at 4:51 PM
Your first choice is the anti Israel guy who campaigns with Cynthia Nixon? Ok. Bye.
June 17, 2025 at 4:45 PM
And, yet, here you are.
June 11, 2025 at 12:14 PM
For the love of god please stop saying extreme. Say economy crushing, or deficit exploding or grandma starving. Nobody hears the word extreme.
May 19, 2025 at 4:07 PM
Who. The. F@ck. Cares!?!
May 17, 2025 at 6:56 PM
This is a remarkably weak statement.
May 12, 2025 at 10:07 PM
Ok Bambi. Nothing to see here. Just a $400 million gift out of the goodness of their hearts. If they wanted anything for it I’m sure they would have taken out an ad or something.
May 12, 2025 at 3:13 PM
Well at least we can be assured no one put any listening devices on it or anything like that.
May 11, 2025 at 3:35 PM
Oh for god’s sake, his only client is the Democratic Party. This isn’t a profile in courage. It’s marketing.
May 5, 2025 at 8:25 PM
Did anyone actually involved say that’s why they changed firms or is the NYT just theorizing? It’s a Delaware chancery court case. Why pick that case to switch to make a political point?
May 1, 2025 at 8:06 PM
You’re a child. Blocked.
May 1, 2025 at 3:10 PM
Now you’re just being silly. Not wanting run face first into a brick wall for the third time doesn’t make anyone a coward. Wanting to do it makes someone a fool. When a tactic doesn’t work, you choose a different tactic, otherwise it’s just performative nonsense.
May 1, 2025 at 2:54 PM
Yeah, and communism would work if only they did it right. If you don’t get republicans to convict, and you won’t, it’s just theater that ends with him saying he’s been vindicated.
