Starmer is extremely selective with his support, and empathy with suffering or the need to see equality are not usually his true motives.

Call me a cynic but I'm wondering what's in it for him? When he's not showing the least bit of solidarity with Palestinians, and is even going against 'his own' people on that? Doesn't listen to the thousands of voices calling for him to stop supplying weapons to Israel... O wait, weapons supply..

When did King Charles, or Starmer for that matter, meet with a representative of the Palestinian people? Even if only to discuss humanitarian or medical help?

Remember, Margaret Atwood has said in interviews that nothing in Handmaid's Tale is purely fictional. It's all been done somewhere in the real world. And we're certainly learning currently that "it can't happen here" is the real fiction.
