It will be incredibly disappointing if the Sounders try to delay Obeds release and they screw this up for him, the same way they did with Ragen in the January USMNT camp.

Honestly, it feel like we are playing with the same hangover that we seemed to have on Saturday. I hoped we would have gotten past it, but with only 2 days between games, I don't think they've been able to shake it off.

But if you didn't see the initial conflict, and you turn around and see a player screaming and flailing his hands in your guys face, you're gonna grab him and drag him away. I think NOT using a headlock would have been nice, and wish that he had seen a punishment, but I can see why they didn't

I would assume they let him off for the same reason that they didn't hit Ragen and Bell with anything. In that his action wasn't 'striking' another player, but was trying to remove one from the scuffle... Even if he was doing it by dragging him by his head.

When Falcon had Cody Baker in a headlock he was the staffer in a white cap who came in and landed a few punches to Falcon's face to get him to drop Baker.

Ragen threw one guy to the ground, after he came over and tried to put Ragen in a headlock. The coach in the white hat was trying to get Falcon to let go of the Sounder he had been dragging around in a headlock. Then a Miami player took a swing at the coach and Ragen threw him away as well.

I was on that end at the game and I did see the referee putting his arm up and down to count it down. I was pretty far up so I am not sure about what audio ques he may have given, if any, but I do remember a visual count of 3 from him. Must have started as soon as the camera cuts away at 66:14
