But there is so much power in this testimony. The community is drawing attention to legacies of extraction in NM, to the health effects of a GAS POWERED "microgrid," to unsustainable water use (esp in a community where arsenic has been found in the drinking water), & to placing profit over people.

Despite the community not falling for the ~Data Center Playbook of Promises~ (jobs, economic growth, clean energy, blah blah blah), the Dona Aña Board of County Commissioners approved 165 billion in industrial revenue bonds to build a data center campus where OpenAI will be the tenant.
