Turns out I made a bigger mistake with my new monitor…it doesn’t have speakers.

So….am out £500 on an all new tower…better than £1500.
Plus I’ll have twohard drives this time as we can tranfer the hard drive from the Alienware over.

Took my Alienware x51 to the local computer store. Confirmed from the video I took of the power cycling it was a hardware fault and considering the age of the tower not worth trying to save.

Yeah, might be time to finally get that sorted. Still running Win8.1 😅

Really wish I understood computing. Don’t know if it’s hardware or software causing my issues as it just randomly does this.
