I'm sick to fucking death of this algorithm and engagement machine, dude. It's in the same vein as not teaching young kids technical terms for the sake of the parents comfort. Tell it like it is, disrupt, make people uncomfortable, how else can we reflect? How can we make change?

Sometimes it's just genuine dislike of the new word, it gets overused, it's infantilizing, etc, but the more prominent case these days are people trying to censor themselves for content and content promotion so they don't get smothered by the algorithm in order to get engagement.
