100% agree. It's like sending your troops into Iraq in 1991 without an Antrhax vax. It makes no sense. The JCVI members are smart so incompetence isn't an excuse. It purposeful behaviour

Beyond belief Mr. Starmar that you didn't bother investing in cheap fresh air/UV and over-rule the JCVI & get flu/covid jabs free for everyone.

The problem is all the people that support him did the same thing. So they'll see this as more like "he's one of us"

At this point I trust Gemini more than I do UK and US government agencies (JCVI in the UK)

Its a wonderful city. Just unaffordable which is kinda important. £1500 for a 1 bed mould filled flat is costly relative to income

Id say the JCVI has already been captured. No chickenpox vax despite other countries having for decades. No covid vaccines based on utter nonsense cost benefit

Facebook feed is non nude porn now. Like a lads mag from the 2000s but filled with AI vids and onlyfans links. Thankfully Firefox exists

Which borough was this? So sad

100% agree. I would say it depends on where in London. Remember a whole tour block was burnt alive & no one was bought to justice, no one in power cared & nothing has changed. That's pretty extreme.

Doctrine of sovereignty applies here. A president can't bind future presidents no?

Hadn't seen this article. Murdoch mentions streaming, distraction economy etc. but not the original studies authors notes a massive stress in a pandemic. The emotional, physical & continuing brain changes (e.g. accidents) the virus causes are a factor that's not even worth mentioning in the blog?

I've not paid in years as I don't watch broadcast TV but the BBC brand carries a lot of weight so news is all over socials via clips. e.g. it's Gaza reporting. When I was a kid /teen though the local London news and One Show were family staples during dinner!

Most in the UK pay for the BBC too

I'd actually say a bike shop is a good example of where online shopping & real world servicing work well. I got my bike cheap online off Decathlon. Got a local bike shop to tweak it for me & service it. Now I have a mate that I have a good chat with.

HEPA air cleaners are too costly, but HEPA vaccums are cheap. Wut. NYT is trash so often

There's a big body of labour economist lit that talks about how dishwashers and washing machines enabled women to enter the work force as they displaced domestic labour and gave women opportunities.
