If you want to implement an AI tutor, you need to study it’s performance in naturalistic settings with the kinds of context windows that student learners will provide. You can’t begin with a well formulated question about a single topic.

In this paper, we discuss how the form, style, and structure of design fiction can work to defamiliarize readers, opening up space to complicate and question our assumptions about our current reality. Richard presents 3 design fictions exploring AI futures in the form of poetry and flash fiction.
