South African. Live alternatively between town and deep rural Limpopo. Schlepp my family and dogs with me.
It look like it doesn't it. It is a photograph by Oliver Gonnet. He won a prize for it. He really captured a stunning moment.

😄😄😄 The black dog is the only one that they sort of still wonder about. Reason being he is so butt ugly. Gremlin vibes. But to his credit, he is a tea afficionado.

They are pocket rockets! With big hearts and attitude. They get into all sorts of difficulties with strangers/big dogs. Our real patrol/ security dogs on the farm just ignore his bravado. My wife says they just roll their eyes.

Good on Elvis. The oumas (grannies) take him to their kitchens if they suspect "intruders", and just open the drawers and let him be. He will spend the whole day, but find them. Again, the brother, not so much...😁

He is suppose to be a Yorkshire terrier. But the fellow and his brother are rescues. So we are not sure. He has endured a few things. But he has a "bushdog" heart. The brother, not so much! A cuddle fuddle for the boys. 😁

He loves that space. It is very cool in this heat. And yes, he does fence inspection. The terrier blood, you see. 💪💪💪🇿🇦

We have flawed democracy, corrupt politicians. But even they know of seeing what can go wrong, to keep their hands of the military.

In South Africa, we take it seriously. We observed elsewhere in our continent.
