He is genuinely really good in the Steph on/Butler off lineups — Kuminga 4/Green 5 plus Steph and two shooters is a great combo. the problem (as you know) is he doesn’t really have a place in the prime lineups.

he’s just better scaled down a little bit, doing role player stuff. really is not at a point where you can let him cook

the sort of player he is, he just can't be as bad at finishing as he is. the weird aborted dunk to missed layup before he was pulled was pretty much his whole issue
