This mid term break I have given myself a break from my training. I usually feel guilty because I can’t keep to my programme swimming and at the gym. I miss it so much too. But it’s just not possible when Joe is off school. We are trying to focus on getting Joe out of the house every day.

We made it out this morning to Airtastic quiet session. He only stayed 20 mins but at least we got there and he jumped the entire time!

It was an “Ice Dunk” this morning at the Lough. That is under 5 degrees. It was 4.9. A really brilliant laugh. And plenty of screaming. Mostly by me I hasten to add.

Just had a visit from CID. Our neighbour got his car stolen last night by thieves targeting the keyless cars. Just a word to the wise keep them in the signal blocking pouches.

Do you know what I like about swimming in the Lough? I spend all morning fighting against it in my head. Telling myself I won’t go. Then about 1pm I will gather up my stuff and go anyway. And I will bloody love every minute of it!
