The mixing of media is where it gets me. As someone who loves using Lego and doll house additions for terrain I don't know why mixing mines at a table is less appealing. But I do think they are an excellent option.

I would definitely like it more if the whole table used them and it matches the vibe.
Also not asked so you can totally ignore, but what if you used a super thin magnet sheet on the bottom of the bases for weight. Pair that with a magnetic white board as a terrain base or under the map
