I see your mistake. You assumed this offence post dated the last court appearance. A ban is obligatory for driving while unfit, so he committed this one before his last court appearance, or else he'd have been charged with driving while disqualified as well. We both read it but I understood it.

Of course, he was banned. It is obligatory in such situations. It states in the article that you linked to that he was banned for 64 months. Did you not read it before commenting?

It is beyond disappointing that Scottish Lib Dem MSPs today voted to make Scotland the country in the developed world in which it is easiest to convict the innocent.
