Also Medicaid is what pays for many elderly people’s nursing home care. Sadly, do people think those folks won’t be the first ones dumped when Medicaid funds are slashed?

I see the Hatch Act is still meaningless to these folks. Could someone please check the tag on those hats? Do they have an American union label or are they made in China with 47’s other merchandise?

But I thought Elon was going to voluntarily recuse himself from any conflicts. Waiting for professional license exams to stop requiring ethics sections.

I recently read The War Outside (not just for kids) on a recommendation. I also highly recommend, particularly given how current events are leading us down the same path to repeat a horrifying history. I appreciate the other recommendations!

Maybe we shouldn’t confirm cabinet members who walk into senate confirmation hearings (aka job interview) and are neither subject matter experts nor qualified in any way for the position for which they were nominated. “I don’t know” or “I am not familiar with that policy” are unacceptable responses.

If they privatize the postal service, rural Americans will see themselves with extremely limited service. No private company is going to deliver a letter to your home for the price of a postage stamp and they aren’t going to do it 6 days a week.

Just because 47 can’t do so legally doesn’t mean that he wouldn’t just declare it and some dipsh*t supporter would open up the prison doors. We are not in a sane reality here.

Let’s not forget that Canada also saved 6 US Embassy workers in Tehran by providing them shelter when the other Americans working in the embassy were taken hostage.
