Ozzy was unique as a frontman but I think that’s as much down to his personality than class. If you look at the current scene there’s still a working class presence, especially in hip-hop and grime. Jason from Sleafod Mods is about the closest thing to a modern Ozzy I can think of.

I think the US needs some benevolent billionaires to see the opportunities in decent people avoiding businesses that no longer align with their values. Wouldn’t take much for someone to buy a small Washington rag and poach disgruntled WaPo journos.
