Where do the Lib Dems get more seats from? LD vote share collapses outside of the seats they won. Their current electoral strategy is a dead end.

I laughed when you described Trump as "the biggest YIMBY of them all". Just preposterous. YIMBYs were overwhelmingly pro-Harris and Trump's victory was a huge setback. yimbyaction.org/blog/preside...

Here's the state of the building at last inspection. At least Scotland is documenting the decay of its heritage. In England the risk register doesn't cover grade II listings if it's a non-religious building outside of London.

The green belts that ensnare growth in Oxford and Cambridge are the antithesis of what's needed to make the Arc a success. We need to plan green corridors and growth corridors, not just choke off expansion.

This is the key data. The big number is Con in 2nd place in Lab-held seats. We're in an era where simply governing generates hostility, and the obvious thing to do to boot Labour out is vote Tory.

How much of this polarisation is driven by green belt? Green belt release would be less car-dependent than green belt leap-frog.
