You cannot determine whether you saved or cost money based solely on one side of the ledger.

Example: I saved my household $2K by not paying the mortgage.

#netzero is dead, they just haven’t realised yet! Trump is going to withdraw the US from the Paris accords, China and India will follow.
Tory / Reform tag line at the next election will be “Poorer, Colder, Hungrier”!
Starmer faces test of climate leadership with big decisions on carbon budget

2/2 Chancellor Scholz’s support for the EU’s compulsory CO2 targets, heat pumps for domestic heating, ban on petrol and diesel cars and legislation on corporate social responsibility had led to his demise and the rise of the far right. And that’s without the mention of unfettered immigration.

1/2 Ed Miliband’s ( #MadEdMilliband )devotion to 2030 will be the end of this @teamlabouruk.bsky.social government. Where Germany has led, they will follow with the same consequences. A popular revolt against #netzero is inevitable if they keep on the same track.

Starmer took Badenoch to the cleaners again in PMQ’s. She keeps asking about immigration when it reminds everyone of how bad the Tories were and plays directly into Farage’ hands. She really is completely useless 😂

In 2012 net migration to the uk was 162,000. The irony that it was the #Brexit Loons that brought this about is astounding. How I wish for #freedomofmovement

Wow - Starmer rhetoric on Tory immigration policy is quite something: "A one nation experiment in open borders".

McSweeney campaign mode is go.

‘I was told my pension was safe – then I lost £300,000’ - The Telegraph
Viva- “Generally, we believe Lifestyling as an investment strategy is an appropriate mechanism to reduce risk approaching retirement.” UNBELIEVABLE

Badenoch already calling for the PM’s resignation. She really is out of her depth.
I’ll have a bet she’s forced out before Starmer. Any takers? 😂

UK Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds: “I have said repeatedly that for me decarbonisation cannot mean deindustrialisation.” But that’s exactly what they’re going to do. He needs to have a word with Mad Ed Milliband!

UK Governments ZEV mandate was never going to survive first contact with reality. The sooner they realise net zero is dead the better. I’m not against decarbonisation but it needs to be realistic. Replacing the British car industry with Chinese cars made with coal is not environmentally friendly!

I’m keeping copies of all the neo liberal (loons) posts about how Musk is going to slash state spending for when they deny they posted them. It’s only a matter of time! 😂😂

It’s wrong that one person can inherit a £3m house from their parents and sell it, with £800k inheritance tax, and another inherit £3m of farmland and sell it, with no inheritance tax.

How to stop IHT avoidance but protect farmers
New data suggests that one third of the farm estates affected by the Budget changes aren’t owned by farmers – they’re held by investors for tax planning purposes. This suggests the Budget proposal…

I’ve had my first block! 😂
I’ll wear it like a badge of honour.
Are some on the left so thin skinned they can’t participate in reasoned debate without being triggered? They really are screwed.
November 18, 2024 at 9:16 AM
All of the people complaining that Kemi Badenoch’s on BlueSky grow up!
All those Xwitter bubbles were part of the reason Harris lost in the US and the reason Starmer will lose in 2029. Understand how people feel on the other side of the argument and engage in debate.
