Interesting Peel J judgment. (1) Equal sharing claim but 55/45 division in H’s favour to reflect the structure of the outcome: H retaining business assets and W receiving cash (2) court preferred H’s buy-out solution to W’s offer to buy or for W to keep/take shares in the companies.
Final hearing of wife's financial remedies application, the main issue being the valuation and division of business assets. Total assets valued at £263m. Husband to retain all business interests, with overall division of all the assets as to 55% to H and 45% to W. www.bailii.org/ew/cases/EWF...
