NUFC, table tennis, golf on the rare occasion I get to play.. and professionally, stuff with computers
I was convinced we'd lose, given how abysmal we've been this season

Nahhhh this incarnation of NUFC isn't that predictable. There have been a few times here we've been expected to lose and we've done well. Carabao Cup Final, Fulham this season, etc.

Obviously we're also class at the opposite, losing when we "should" win

And we're fucking tragic against City

Asked my Parisienne mate, and he says a) why are you there it's a shithole, b) find a pub with Canal+ as that's the channel with rights to PL football

Reckons it's a low chance though. Might be best trying to find a quiet place with C+ and charming the owner

my exact response 😂

Agree with all of the above. I've been a paid-up member of the Greens for a few months now because Labour's immigration and trans rhetoric - trying to out-Reform Reform - drove me to them

I've voted Labour in my area mostly to avoid The Bad Guys getting in. Turns out Labour are no better

what do you class as a "moderate"? the only people I know worried about immigration - in the north east at least - are Reform voters

perhaps different in other areas where ethnic populations are higher

totally agree with this. it feels unfair to Corbyn, because from what I've seen, he seems to just want to stick to his guns and do right by working class people for the most part

but the media MURDERED him when he went up against the Tories. and absolutely nothing will stop that happening again

Definitely good enough

😂 Wtf

Eh? What did they talk about then

I'm curious about this too though - he's constantly occupying two centre-backs really high up. How are we not using this to our advantage?
November 10, 2025 at 10:32 PM
It's one thing trying to manage results with an injury-weakened squad - he should be doing better, and recruitment is clearly a problem, but there are extenuating circumstances

If he can't get a tune out of his best 11 though, that's PURELY on him. ONLY he carries responsibility for that

Yer, exactly. "I can't coach them how to attack atm so let's go back to what 9+ of these players already understand because they've done it for 2 seasons - press and counter"

Big Nick isn't great at pressing. But he would be sufficient if we chose to actually play in that way
