Ho ho ho! A bit of a festive cocktail tonight in the hopes Santa makes it to our house. Supposed to feature sherry, but we didn't have any so went with port instead.

Tonight's cocktail was the Model Village. It's a complicated one, and it took us until Round 3 to notice I'd grabbed the Creme de Violette instead of the Creme de Mure.
Still, probably my favorite of the month so far! It's similar to the Vieux Carre but a bit fruitier (and also yummier).

Tonight's drink: the Midnight Stinger. I did not expect to love it, as it's heavy on Fernet (along with bourbon, lemon juice, and simple syrup). And I was correct. Too Fernet heavy for me. But someone else in the house is on their third one!
