We’re currently trying to wrestle the West away from outright fascism, nevermind implement progressive policies. Starmer is not left-wing and only appears so due to the UK’s other options. Every time a right-wing populist gains traction, it puts us back decades.

I think the former usually highlights the latter. The same thing happens when people criticise other excellent games. Think Witcher 3 and the comments made about its combat.

It shows such insecurity in your own taste. I’ve never aligned with IGN so I don’t read them. But I also don’t ever bring them up in conversation. They need to show they’re smarter than the big sites somehow.
