It feels a bit like they have a small team with singular interests working on every release. Like corporate shows up and says "alright folks, time to make Blood Angels!" and everyone sighs, because half the team want to be working on space wolves and the rest all have Age of Sigmar faves

It be like that sometimes...my partner is fond of finding scrungly lil guys stuck to the bottom of their shoe, scraping them off, and making them their obsession temporarily....
They did that with Starscream IDW and that's how I got them into TF, so you know, that was pretty pog.

That's fair. My partner is currently going through D2 and D3, and I'm going through wikis and stuff to understand their nonsense and yours, I found that Kodaka literally kills someone and says "no, wait, I like them" and brings them back to life with an entirely rewritten personality no explanation

Finished the Vod! To explain the current canon standing and make you angry, wanted to inform you that Kodaka IRL gave up on the Hopes Peak plot line part way through D2. The writing quality tanks part way through, and anime 3 was commissioned to serve as a prequel and ending for the storyline
