You’d think the final Australian physical release of the first My Little Pony movie would be perfect, having actual movie art on the front cover, but nah. It still uses the (admittedly nicer IMO) Generation 2 logo, has art from the first special on the back, and plays the Tales theme on the menu!

Fuck it, I’m watching IBO and W on YT until I can figure out how to get YT-DLP to properly download the files (then again I could always torrent, but doing things the semi-legal way is nice)

Pet peeve of mine: when FiM-onlys mistakenly think Generation 3 of My Little Pony (2003-10) is Gen 1 (1983-93)
Even worse when they ignore the actual Gen 1 entirely and think the series started in the 2000s for some reason

I feel like I improved the look of the Cutie Honey Nova design a little just by adjusting the colours to be more classic and giving her sheer tights

Then again, I can watch the censored version legally on Crunchyroll, and apparently Macross wasn't Macekred (literally in this case) quite as badly as Southern Cross or Mospeada, and I don't particularly care for watching the other two (and the latter's on CR uncensored too anyway)

Things I've found:
- Mr Hobby Marker tends to stick better to Tamiya's primer than surfacer: it still just wipes off after 3 hours as if it were on bare plastic
- Surfacer could obscure shallow details, will need to be scribed
- Enamel paint pen comes out too thick, will need to thin it with smth

Things I've found:
